Patient Input Wanted: Designing Immune-Image Panel for Cancer/Inflammatory Diseases

Calls on cancer/inflammatory diseases patients to share their thoughts on the preferred design of a patient panel

ttopstart, one of the partners in the Immune-Image projects, and the Immune-Image consortium have developed a  questionnaire to better understand the added value and expectations from patients, patient advocates and caregivers regarding their involvement and engagement in Immune-Image, a European research project on immunotherapy. By participating in this survey, you will help with the design and setup of a patient panel for our project.

Background

Immunotherapies are revolutionising the treatment of many cancers and inflammatory diseases. However, immunotherapies are not always successful due to specific disease features in each patient, and adaption of the immune system and the tumour during treatment. Therefore, there is an urgent clinical need to assess the immune status of individual patients and to regularly monitor the response to immunotherapy.

Aim survey

As the developed methods will soon go to clinical trials to test the safety and clinical potential in patients, the project would highly benefit from a patient panel. By involving patients and learning more from their perspective and needs regarding Immune-Image, we hope to further shape and optimise our research and developed methods to study how imaging can provide insight in immunotherapy. To ensure we fullfill the expectations of patients for this patient panel in Immune-Image, we would highly appreciate your input.
